Update: November 13th

After some minor difficulties the Library is now chock-full of new stories! Check out the continuation of the primary story arc, as well as a handful of supporting and related stories. And as always, feel free to join the forum and discuss your thoughts and reactions to the series with other fans!

Thanks to some minor effort, we now have a page on the wonderful Tv Tropes website! You can see it here:

Use caution: this site is *extremely* addictive, even by web standards. Feel free to check it out and make your own contributions. It is a wiki, after all!

If you're new, as always, feel free to peruse the site. You can find the stories that are the whole purpose for this place by hitting the "Library" button on the left. We also have a free and open forum where you can discuss the works or a wide range of other topcis. Make yourself at home and enjoy!

About the Site and the Series

The Lonely Winds is an ongoing, serial storyline, with each novel composed of four novella-sized "episodes." The series takes place on the world of Rond, and follows the lives and adventures of a group of monster hunters known, interestingly enough, as The Lonely Winds. Each episode details an important event or span of time in the lives of these stalwart monster hunters as they wage their shadow war against the horrible creatures that plague their homeland, unrestrained by a society that does not even acknowledge their existence.

Like much of my work, The Lonely Winds itself is a genre-bending fantasy novel combining elements of science-fiction, action, horror, comedy and adventure. My efforts to blend many of my interests into a single cohesive story have produced something unique, thought-provoking and, to my great pride, something I have found people of all cloths can read and enjoy.

For more information, just browse around the site. Hit the Characters button to see biographies about major characters who appear in the first novel. (Yeah, "Characters" is pretty self-explanatory, huh?)
