The new quadrant promises to bring in more mining updates, giving players a plethora of resources at their disposal. According to CCP Games community manager Abraxas313, the new areas are part of an effort to make EVE Online feel “new and fresh” while inviting back long-time fans.
With so many players and such a huge world to explore, there was always the chance that something would be discovered before everyone else. Now with an updated Dawn quadrant on the horizon, EVE Online is poised for another major change in its history.
EVE Online’s new quadrant promises mining updates, more resources, and new exploration sites. The new update is set to release on November 27th.
The title of the game’s newest quarter of improvements, as well as the herald of new things on the horizon, is EVE Online’s New Dawn. Capsuleers will have a lot to look forward to in the near future.
The New Dawn quadrant’s major focus is on mining and resources, with more resources throughout the game universe, considerable mining changes, a full rebalance of mining ships, and the promise of “equally large” resource compression updates. More information on these changes will be released in a developer post on Friday.
While these upgrades are in the works, today’s patch delivered two new exploration sites to Tranquility: the AEGIS Capital Ship Security Facility and the Overmind Nursery Groves, with two more sites – the AEGIS Secure Transfer Facility and the AEGIS Secure Capital Construction Forge – expected to come shortly.
The statement also mentions a number of planned events for players, including the return of the Winter Nexus seasonal event, the current Alliance Tournament competition, and the approaching EVE Fanfest, which promises to be COVID-safe once again. Overall, the next quadrant seems to be jam-packed with activities.
