Browns release Odell Beckham Jr. and he hasn’t played since Week 1 of the preseason due to a fractured foot, but Vikings star Justin Jefferson has sent him a powerful message in support for his former teammate. He also encouraged other players around the league to show their solidarity with Beckham Jr by wearing cleats or jerseys from different teams on Wednesday night during NFL games, which is what many players did last season when Colin Kaepernick’s name was brought up following his anthem protest.
The “what team is odell beckham on” is a question that many people have been asking since the Cleveland Browns released Odell Beckham Jr. last week. The NFL star has now sent a strong message in support of his former teammate, telling him to keep fighting and stay positive.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has left the team. That is, once he has cleared waivers. After a tumultuous time with the squad, they opted to dismiss him amid controversy, and he is expected to sign with another team.
Things have reached a point of no return for both sides, with Beckham and the Browns in the limelight over the last several days after electing not to move him at the trade deadline.
Athletes like LeBron James used the hashtag “Free Odell” to show their support for Beckham. Others joined in on the action when the Browns officially dismissed him, and Minnesota Vikings standout Justin Jefferson was the last to do so.

After a strong start to his career with the New York Giants, Beckham’s father’s viral video, the Browns’ unwillingness to trade him, and his general lack of performance, this chapter has come to an end.
To begin with, Beckham struggled to remain on the pitch. For another, the Cleveland attack relies heavily on the run, owing to the strongest 1-2 punch in football in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.
Nonetheless, after being moved from the Big Apple, Beckham’s position shrank and never fully materialized as either side had intended. In his debut year in Cleveland, he rushed for over 1000 yards but just four touchdowns while catching 74 passes.
Following that, he played in only 13 games over the following two seasons, totaling 551 yards and three touchdowns. Baker Mayfield and Kevin Stefanski had different ideas on the offensive side of the ball in 2021, thus Beckham only caught 17 passes for 232 yards.
Is it totally Mayfield’s work now? No, not at all. Beckham has been a walking injury bug for the last two seasons, which hasn’t helped the running back attack.
Many others, including Justin Jefferson, back Beckham.
As the Vikings prepared for their game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Jefferson and several of his teammates donned some unusual warmups.
Prior to the game, Cam Dantzler wore the “Free Odell” sweatshirt.

The message is being given to everyone, despite the fact that Odell has already been “freed” by the Browns. There is, however, one issue.
The former LSU standout is first on the waiver wire, and there are a few of clubs in desperate need of wide receivers at the top of the list. The Detroit Lions are in first place, but no one knows whether they will gamble.
It’s unclear how much more Beckham has left in the tank, but a wide receiver of his quality is seldom available this late in the NFL season.
Beckham’s next landing site has everyone’s attention.
What happens over the next several days will be intriguing to watch. Another report arrived on Sunday, this time concerning clubs towards the top of the waiver list.
He wants to join a contender (surprise), which should deter others from taking a chance considering what happened with the Browns.
However, many clubs, even contenders, could benefit from wide receiver assistance. The New Orleans Saints, who have recently lost Michael Thomas for the season, could use the help. The Green Bay Packers would love to provide another alternative for Aaron Rodgers — or Jordan Love. Beckham’s addition may be very beneficial to the Kansas City Chiefs and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
There are lots of possibilities, but who will take a risk on Beckham?
